Apply for the Council.

Phoenix Rising is built around real people in real rooms. The council is not for everyone, and that is the point.

We let in people who lead something they care about, who can hold their own at a table, and who add to the room without taking it over.

Who we let in

We let in people who lead something they actually care about, who can hold their own at a serious table, and who add to the room without taking it over.

The throughline is contribution. This room is for people building something that adds real value to the world, not just people looking to monetize it. We are not against making money, the opposite, but the bar to be here is what you are trying to put into the world, not only what you are trying to take out of it.

The standard is high on purpose, because the value of the room is the people in it.

How it works

This application is the start of a conversation. We read every one. If it is a fit, we will reach out within seven days to talk.

If it is not a fit right now, we will still write back. No black hole, no template auto-reply, no silence.

If we want to bring you in, we will set up a fifteen-minute call. The call is not a pitch. It is a real conversation about whether the room is right for you and whether you are right for the room.

There is no purchase and no upsell at the end of this form. The council runs on trust signals, not transactions. The application is how we honor that.

Application questions

What happens after you apply.

How does the application work?

You fill out the application, we read it, and if it looks like a fit we reach out within about a week for a short conversation. If it is not the right time, we tell you directly rather than going quiet.

What are you looking for in a member?

Prepared voices: founders, speakers, and leaders who lead something real, can contribute at a high level, and want a room that supports them rather than just another audience to perform for.

What does membership cost?

Cost is covered in the conversation after you apply, so it can be matched to the right fit.

When will I hear back?

We aim to respond within about seven days, whether it is a yes, a not-yet, or a not-a-fit. Either way you get a real reply.

Tell us your story

Leave your story below. We read every one.

Eleven questions. None of them busywork. All of them matter.

Part 1 of 4

Who you are.

Basic identity. Your LinkedIn URL is the trust signal - make sure it points to your actual profile.

Must be your linkedin.com profile URL, not your homepage.
Part 2 of 4

What you are doing.

The work you are actually in. Not what you are planning. What is real right now.

Part 3 of 4

What you bring.

The room is built on reciprocity. We want to know what you add as much as what you need.

Applications without a vouch are still read carefully. A vouch helps but is not required.
Part 4 of 4

Anything else worth knowing.

Optional. These help us understand context but you can skip them.

We read every application. We respond within seven days. No exceptions.

What happens next.

The Council personally reviews every application. You will get a response within seven days either way. If it is a fit, we will set up a fifteen-minute call. The call is not a pitch - it is a real conversation about whether the room is right for you.

In the meantime, if anything pressing comes up, you can email Joshua directly at joshua@ourphoenixrising.com.
