Recording, transcription, and AI processing - acknowledgment. I understand and agree that council sessions are recorded (audio, and where applicable video) for the council's own use, and that AI tools may process the recordings and transcripts to draft candidate insights, themes, and summaries. I understand that nothing from a session will be published outside the room - for example to the public "ripple" / insights feed, to the book, or to social channels - without my own individual, explicit approval if I am the speaker of that material, and that I may withdraw a previously granted approval at any time, in which case the material will be taken down. I understand that fellow members are bound by the council's confidentiality norm: what is shared in the room stays in the room unless the person who shared it expressly says otherwise. I confirm I am giving this consent voluntarily, as an adult, and that I may stop participating in any individual recording by leaving the session or by asking the host to pause the recording.
Piece 2 - Session-start notice (visible and/or verbal)
This is the short notice the host or moderator says aloud (and ideally also shows on screen) at the start of every recorded council session. It is meant to be a friendly, on-brand reminder that consent is live, not a legal recital.

Quick heads-up before we start: this session is being recorded for the council, and AI may help us pull candidate insights out of the transcript afterward. Nothing leaves the room without the speaker's explicit yes - that's the rule. If you'd rather not be on the recording for any reason, tell the host now and we'll work around it. Otherwise, you good?
